It is hard to believe we are almost through winter and spring will soon be upon us. The last few months have left a chill in the air, though it didn’t put a damper on the members and students who attended our last association meeting. It was amazing to see everyone.

As one of the foremost experts in seismic isolation, he dedicated his career to advancing technologies that protect communities and critical infrastructure by reducing the destructive seismic forces.

In Memoriam - Daniel Shapiro
